Philip Blair is a Seattle-based photographer with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. He exhibits his work locally, speaks and teaches on photographic subjects, and creates custom artwork imbued with personal meaning and message. His recent exhibitions include Solitude: Snow and Ice, shown at Kenmore Camera’s gallery (Kenmore, WA) in February and March 2020. The exhibit debuted earlier at the Leica Store Bellevue in Bellevue Square (Bellevue, WA) in November - December 2018. The project culminated a book of the same name published by Chatwin Books in November 2023.

Blair’s teaching engagements include leading workshops for Leica Akademie USA, such as Alpine Photography with Philip Blair (Mount Rainier, WA, October 2019) and The Monochrom Landscape (Deception Pass, WA, January 2019). During 2021–2022, he hosted several virtual events with Leica Akademie, including three sessions of The Winter Landscape and a specialized program titled Black and White: A Conversion and Processing Workshop with Philip Blair (October 2021).
